A fun, community space supporting young children and the humans who care for them - Opening in September 2026!
Our Impact
Through Temple of Play, we aim to:
Reduce isolation by giving parents and carers a consistent place to meet and build relationships
Support early development through play-based learning and parent education
Improve wellbeing for families during the often-isolating early years
Increase inclusion, particularly for families who feel underserved or excluded elsewhere
Strengthen the local community by creating a permanent, welcoming space in the town centre
What’s coming?
From September 2026, Temple of Play will offer:
Play sessions for children aged 0-8
Creative workshops and activities
Essential resources and local signposting
A café space (excellent coffee never optional!)
Community-led design, shaped by local parent surveys to support both children and the amazing people caring for them.
